Howth Yacht Club Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd April – Toppers Report
Racing was cancelled on April Fools day due to 40+ knot gusts. However, 7 races were held on Saturday & Sunday in good winds and a lot of rain.
The event attracted 40 toppers from all over the 32 counties with the Dublin sailing clubs being sparsely represented. However, the standard of racing was very high and results at the top of the leader board are very close.
Jack Fahy was the sole entrant from RSTGYC. He performed very well finishing 2nd overall having scored 2 firsts on the Saturday. The event was won by Michael Carroll KYC and Ella Hemeryck NYC was 3rd.
