The Final Fling Regatta takes place on September 28th.
There will be two courses and fleets as follows:
1. Main Fleet (intermediate/advanced sailors)
2. Regatta Fleet (inside Harbour for less confident Laser sailors only)
Main Fleet Details
Warning signal at 14.00. IDRA’s/FIREBALL/PY start 14.03, LASER RADIALS starts 14.06, LASER STD & 4.7 start 14.09. Plan is for 4 sprint races lasting approx. 20mins each – no discards! Protest at your peril! Sailing instructions as per DBSC Tuesday evening racing. Non-DBSC Members need to fill out form which will be sent to you individually.
Regatta Fleet Details
Briefing RStGYC 1300 hours at RSGYC Main Mast
Warning signal at 14:00. LASER RADIALS start 14.03, LASER STD & 4.7 start 14.06. Plan is for 5 sprint races lasting approx. 10mins each. Regatta Fleet sailors need to be able to sail a triangular course. Instructors will be on the water giving guidance around the course as required.
Prize-giving in the George as soon as possible after racing – approx. 18.30 – all welcome! Prizes for 1, 2, 3 in Laser Radial & STD & 4.7 Fleets, prizes for 1, 2, 3 in IDRA’s/Vago’s/PY’s.
Entry Fee €25
Entries will close at 18:00 on Thursday 26th September; late entries may be accepted subject to the approval of the Committee at the agreed rate plus drinks for the fleet.
