Club Outing : Classic Georgian Houses Tour

Join us for a visit to Kildrought House, built by Robert Baillie in 1719, designed by Thomas Burgh (designer of Trinity Library). June Stuart (present owner) will give a talk and tour. Afterwards we travel 1 km down the road, to Castletown House for a tour and lunch. Castletown House, a Palladian country house built in 1722 for William Conolly, the Speaker of the Irish House of Commons – now divided between State and private ownership.
Coach departs the Club at 9.45 am, and returns at 5.30 pm
Cost: €30 per person / payable as cash in advance (includes) entry to both houses, coffee on arrival and transport
