Help us conquer the Worlds!
To all George Members,
As you may know, the RSGYC is hosting the KBC Laser Radial Worlds in July, 23rd to 30th. The success of these events depend upon the generosity of our fellow Members, who are able to give up some of their time to give a warm welcome to our visitors (from 40 Nations!) and help make things run smoothly on and off the water.
It can also be great fun!
Please help us make this a success and join one of our volunteer teams.
We are currently compiling our lists so please respond soon to this appeal.
There are several ways to get involved.
On the Water Volunteer
There are a limited number of places available to those interested in race management to assist on committee boats and ribs during the event.
Meet and Greet Team
We will have a number of visiting family supporters at the event. We will be putting together a Meet & Greet team to welcome our visitors & assist with the Opening & Closing Ceremonies.
Shoreside Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers for Pre Event venue set up, Race Office, Registration, Measurement, Slip Launch & Recovery in our 2 boat park areas & Security.
Host Families
We have received a number of requests seeking host families for competing sailors. Sailors are willing to cover the cost of Accommodation & Meals in your home.
