SUMMARY:Laser Spring Coaching for all 4.7 and Radial sailors
DESCRIPTION:Laser Sunday Spring Coaching has commenced!\nThe coaching will be available to laser 4.7 and radial sailors from all three DL yacht clubs. The programme will be overseen by Conor O’ Beirne with on the water coaching from Conor and coaches from the clubs as required. \nSailors must be rigged and ready for 12PM and will be off the water at approximately 16:00. Briefing and debriefing will take place for all sailors in the RSGYC.  \nWhen?  \nSundays in April\n22nd\, 29th April\n6th\, 13th\, 27th May \nSailors rigged and ready for 12 pm. \nNo sailing will take place on the 20th due to Laser Master national championships. \nThis program numbers dependent and will only run if sufficient register. Sailors can register for individual Sundays BUT please ensure that all intending to sail are registered no later than 12PM on the Friday before coaching.  \nClick here for more details and to register.

DESCRIPTION:The Dun Laoghaire Youth Laser training program will be run as a collaboration between RSGYC and NYC.\nWe are fortunate to have two excellent local coaches head up the program: Conor O’Beirne will be running the 4.7’s and we have Nicole Hemeryck on the Radials. DESCRIPTION:VHF Radio Course   \n \nThe RSGYC in partnership with Sea- Craft will be running a VHF Radio course on  the evening of November 11th @ 6.00pm and all day November 12th starting at 9.00am.  \nA Marine VHF radio is a vital piece of safety equipment aboard a boat. \nThe  Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required to operate marine VHF radio equipment on a vessel. This includes both fixed and handheld equipment with and without Digital Selective Calling (DSC). DESCRIPTION:VHF Radio Course   \n \nThe RSGYC in partnership with Sea- Craft will be running a VHF Radio course on  the evening of November 11th @ 6.00pm and all day November 12th starting at 9.00am.  \nA Marine VHF radio is a vital piece of safety equipment aboard a boat. \nThe  Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required to operate marine VHF radio equipment on a vessel. This includes both fixed and handheld equipment with and without Digital Selective Calling (DSC). DESCRIPTION:The Matt McGovern and Sean Donnelly led 29er Clinics will be held on the following dates. \n\nFebruary 2nd & 3rd\nFebruary 16th & 17th\nMarch 2nd & 3rd\nApril 27th & 28th\n\nTimes 10am to 5:00pm each day.\nThe cost for each of the weekend clinics are: €205 p/ team (Helm & crew). \nThe clinics are open to sailors from all clubs currently sailing as part of a 29’er crew (a team).\nSailors must be sailing regularly as part of a 29’er team\, have their own boat or be crewing on a boat.\nThe clinic is based on a ratio of 4 boats to 1 coach (Intermediate Sailors) and 3:1 for New to the 29’er Class sailors to ensure a high level of coaching and support. \nPlease bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. A notebook and pen are also required\, as well as plenty of warm clothes as it can be very cold at this time of year.\nIf available places fill up\, we will look to find an additional coach so that more places can be made available. \nQuestions?
