Mr Turner is a 2014 internationally co-produced biographical drama film on the last twenty-five years of the life and career of painter J.M.W. Turner (1775-1851) Written and directed by Mike Leigh, the film stars Timothy Spall in the title role. It premiered in competition for the Palme d'Or at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, where Spall won the award for Best Actor and cinematographer Dick Pope received a special jury prize for the films cinematography.

Join us for a Christmas Eve lunch, complete with all the seasonal trimmings. As always this event is very popular with families. Early bookings are encouraged to avoid disappointment. The last seating will be 14:00. The Club is closed on Christmas day and reopens on the 28th December.

Following our London Dinner sell-out successes over the last two years at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, your Overseas Members Branch is delighted to announce that this popular event will once again be held at the Royal Thames on Saturday, 14th January 2017. The costs for the Dinner is €65 per member.
