The 12-foot dinghies were the mainstay of Irish dinghy sailing from the 1920s till the post second war period. Vincent Delany has written the history of this interesting class. We welcome anybody who has had an interest in the class to come along to our book launch and dinner!
The RSGYC Lift In marks the beginning of the official sailing season. It is a very exciting time for all members and sailors around the clubs in Dublin Bay and a sight to see as large yachts and cranes carry out a synchronised dance around the club forecourt.
The RSGYC Choir will host their annual performance followed by a wonderful dinner at the club. Arrival time of 7pm is recommended for the performance time of 7:30pm, followed by dinner at 8pm.
