Join the Tall Ship ‘Maybe’ as they explore the Irish Sea. With support from Dublin City Council the Dublin sail training bursary scheme voyage 2 is set for 2017! This voyage is for 18-30 y/o from the Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow areas. Leaving Carlingford Lough we head South along the coast of Ireland. Become the crew of Tall Ship Maybe, involved in every aspect of sailing a classic Tall Ship; without you, the sail’s won’t go up and the boat won’t move! You will be involved in hoisting sails, ropework, steering, keeping watch, cooking in the galley and general duties on board. You will learn skills in team work, communication and leadership and make new friends, building confidence and having fun. There will be opportunities to visit quite secluded bays, and swim in the Irish Sea! See amazing scenery. Spot amazing wildlife and birds. But, most importantly, have a fantastic adventure which you will share with new friends and will be etched in your memory forever.

Sail Training Ireland acts as a referring organisation for the ship operators and as an administrator for various streams of funding.
