Summer Dinghy Parking Applications
Summer dinghy parking applications are now being accepted. Parking applications opened last week and are nearly full- if you are planning on applying please do so now to avoid dissapointment.
This year we will be offering a ‘Casual dinghy storage’ option for this summer. This will be for those boats that are not used regularly i.e., as part of DBSC racing or weekly training and coaching. The Casual Dinghy Storage pen has been successfully in use all winter and is located behind the underground car park adjacent to the Club, beside the Old Ferry Terminal. We currently have all the Club boats safely stored along with about 30 Fevas, Lasers and various other boats in the area.
We would ask you to please consider the use of this space if you are not planning on sailing your boat most weeks, which will greatly assist us with available space on the deck. The ‘Casual dinghy storage’ area is always quickly accessible when the club is open and takes two minutes to walk over with your boat. It is secure and safe. If you can, please use this space. There will be 40 available spaces for this area.
The fee for the use of this space per boat is €99 p/ boat for the season. If you avail of this space and find that your plans chance and will be sailing regularly, we will be able to accommodate your boat on the deck.
