Congratulations to club members Vincent Delany and crew Joe O’ Byrne aboard Femme Fatale, who claimed overall victory at the Squib Northerns 2026.
Their consistent performance across the series, including two race wins, set them apart in a highly competitive fleet and underlined their experience and teamwork on the water.
With six races completed and five different race winners, the event proved both challenging and closely fought, making their achievement all the more impressive.
Overall, the regatta was an excellent start to the Squib season, combining top-class racing with a great social atmosphere, thanks to the efforts of the race team, volunteers, and long-standing supporters of the fleet.
