Bon Exemple was the winner of both of yesterday’s class one races at the Royal St. George regatta. Scroll down for slideshow below.
There were over 170 entrants across 19 classes for Saturday’s Frank Keane BMW Royal St. George Regatta on Dublin Bay that turned out the be a very squally affair.
The event marked the conclusion of June’s four waterfront regattas at Dun Laoghaire.
Entries did not quite match last year’s record of 212 but that was the biggest entry in the club’s 176–year history.
Already this year, the DMYC regatta was staged on June 11th, the Davy National YC (NYC) regatta was on the 18th. And then there was the Teng Tools Royal Irish Yacht Club (RIYC) Regatta this past weekend.
Included in the RSGYC regatta line–up was a 42–mile ISORA offshore race from Dun Laoghaire that features Dublin lighthouses Rockabill and Kish as marks of the course. See start video clip below.
